Dillard star wide receiver Devaughn Mortimer was committed to Florida State since March, but when it came time to sign his national letter of intent on Wednesday, he had a change of heart.
“I felt like the University of Louisville was a better place for me,” Mortimer said. “They showed me film, they showed me how they can use [me] and I feel like my opportunities are better there.”
Mortimer said he knew he was going to pick the Cardinals over Florida State when he returned from his visit to Louisville last week.
