Defensive back Omarion Cooper is coming home.
After spending one year in Boulder with the Colorado Buffaloes and coach Deion Sanders, Cooper has made the decision to transfer back to Florida State. Last season, Cooper recorded 37 total tackled and deflected five passes for the Buffs.
To start off his college career, Cooper found the field quickly and saw action in 20 games for Florida State including 7 starts — he switched to safety during 2023 spring camp in Tallahassee to see if he could find a new role before transferring.
