By now you've probably seen the video showing Florida State freshman quarterback De'Andre Johnson's recent physical altercation with a young lady at a Tallahassee nightclub that ended with Johnson striking the woman before vacating the premises. The incident resulted in Johnson's indefinite suspension from the FSU football program as well as a charge of misdemeanor battery, and the video went national this evening, when it was shown on ESPN's SportCenter.
Since then, Johnson's attorney, Jose Baez, has issued his first statement addressing the event.
