With the college football regular season now in the rearview mirror for nearly all of the teams in the game, attention is turned toward the conferences that will be taking part in the fun and excitement that is championship weekend – you know, that thing FSU football used to take part in before the previous head coach sunk this ship that Willie Taggart has to rebuild.
Come late Saturday night, we should have a better idea which four teams are going to make it into the college football playoff system this year – while leaving plenty of room for controversy as there will surely be at least one team with a Power Five conference title in contention entering the weekend that gets to watch the system from home later this month.
