Last week, I wrote about how the Florida State football team is the only FBS program that can lay claim to an undefeated home record over the last three seasons. The longest previous mark for Florida State came between 1992 and 2001, when the 'Noles played 54 consecutive games in Doak Campbell Stadium without a single loss.
Of course, that includes a 1994 tie with the rival Florida Gators, a 31-31 deadlock typically referred to as "The Choke at Doak," since the final score resulted from a 28-point FSU comeback after Steve Spurrier's UF squad held a 31-3 fourth-quarter lead.
