“Bring the juice!” Situational Wednesday sees FSU defense dominate as Duke prep continues

Florida State continued its Duke preparations on Wednesday, focusing heavily on situational moments such as third downs, the red zone, and two-minute drills.

Mike Norvell also decided to turn off the music for the second day in a row, challenging his team to bring the energy and encouragement where it could be heard or seen.

Most of the day, the noise came from those in the garnet jerseys. The defense smothered their counterparts in every sense of the word by getting into the backfield, creating turnovers, and winning the effort battle. Brock Glenn and company struggled to move the ball until the very end of red zone work in the back half of practice, as they did not block well enough up front or create separation against the defensive backs.
