Florida State has become a fixture in the top 10 of the RecruitingNation class rankings, with seven straight top-10 finishes. Currently sitting at No. 3 in the rankings with 10 ESPN 300 verbals, another top 10 finish is a guarantee, but the Seminoles have eyes on a bigger prize as one of a handful of schools that still have an outside shot at the No. 1 class.
In order for Florida State to finish atop the rankings, Jimbo Fisher and staff would have to close on seven or eight of the top 10 prospects remaining on the board, in a class that could go as high as 27 signees (counting January enrollees).
