Thomas took over the starting cornerback spot for the departing Renardo Green in 2024, becoming the steadiest and best defensive player for FSU this season. In the season's final week, he made an exclamation mark on his career with an interception against Florida. Thomas did not walk on senior day but chose not to comment on his future when asked about it after the UF game.
