New Florida State head coach Willie Taggart filled out his coaching staff a even further today, as Tomahawk Nation has learned that Alonzo Hampton will be an on-field defensive backs coach for the Seminoles while also serving as special teams coach.
Like all of the other new assistants Taggart has added to his staff since taking the FSU job, Hampton has a history with the new head man in Tallahassee. He joined Taggart’s Western Kentucky defensive staff in 2011, and briefly took on the DB coaching job at Georgia’s Tift County High School when Taggart took the South Florida job.
