In his five years in Tallahassee, Alec Eberle has seen Florida State football hit both highs and lows. Saturday saw his career end in historic fashion, albeit in a way that probably wasn’t imagined when the season kicked off in September.
Eberle said that it hurt to end his time at Florida State like this, but despite the result of Saturday’s game against Florida, he still feels confident in the talent of returning players and their ability to put 2018’s losing effort behind them. He cited the team’s growth since last season, specifically in closeness, and expressed the belief that head coach Willie Taggart is the man that’ll be able to rectify the state of the program.
