Florida State, Miami and UCF saw their upcoming football seasons altered after the ACC unveiled a new 11-game schedule Wednesday in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Under the new plan, ACC schools will play 10 conference games plus one nonconference game determined at a later date. ·The 11 games will be played during a span of at least 13 weeks, with each team having two open dates and the season beginning no earlier than the week of Sept. 7-12.
FSU and new coach Mike Norvell will play home games against Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Virginia, with road contests against Duke, Louisville, Miami, NC State and Notre Dame.
