For the first time in his Florida State tenure, Mike Norvell’s Seminoles are 1-5 to start the season.
Its loss to Clemson on Saturday, the eighth in the last nine matchups to the Tigers, was Florida State’s third double-digit loss this year. It was the sixth time this season that FSU failed to score over 20 points, with its 2024-high still standing at 20 in its loss to Georgia Tech.
Clemson gained 500 yards en route to the 29-13 win, the highest regular season mark for Florida State since 2020 vs. Louisville.
While redshirt freshman quarterback Brock Glenn (making his third career start and first in Doak Campbell Stadium) performed as admirably as one can in a 16-point loss, the Seminoles once again saw self-inflicted mistakes cut any positive momentum gained short.
