Florida State football’s nightmare season continued on Saturday, with the Seminoles dropping to 0-3 (0-2 ACC) after a 20-12 loss to the Memphis Tigers.
It was yet another lifeless performance from the FSU offense, who scored just a single touchdown for the second game in a row. Three Florida State turnovers helped give way to a 13-3 lead for Memphis in the first half and a dominating touchdown drive by the Tigers to start the third quarter essentially iced the game.
The loss now makes earning bowl eligibility the sole focus of the season — a goal that basically seems out of reach at this point.
