Florida State (1-5, 1-4 ACC), as has now been the case for eight of the last nine matchups in the series, fell to the Clemson Tigers on Saturday. The 29-13 loss was the fifth double-digit loss to FSU’s rivals over that span and the fourth time since giving up 511 yards in 2016 (in addition to 2018 and 2019) that Clemson has exceeded or met the 500-yard mark.
“I’m just disappointed in the result, disappointed for our guys. I thought they played hard. I thought they fought,” head coach Mike Norvell. “We had our opportunities, but the absolute minimum expectation here is to get the job done, and we didn’t.
