The Florida State Seminoles had an up and down homecoming this past weekend. While FSU football got on a three-game win streak after a victory over the University of Massachusetts (that hasn't happened since 2017) no. 1 women’s soccer fell to Duke in Durham.

Florida State faced off at home and routed the University of Massachusetts in a slaughterhouse of a contest 59-3. Defensive end Jermaine Johnson II only recorded one tackle during the game but was named ACC mid-season defensive player of the year:
- Defensive back Jarvis Brownlee II had a strong showing while racking up three tackles and a pick-six.
