Finally: game day. After a successful beginning to the 2019 NCAA Tournament that saw Florida State dispatch of 13-seed Vermont and 12-seed Murray State, the Seminoles have moved on to a different venue, as well as another level of opponent.
The ’Noles will face the 1-seed Gonzaga Bulldogs to commence Sweet Sixteen play tonight, with the game tipping at 7:09 ET on CBS. This is a rematch of last year’s West semifinal that saw the ’Noles defeat the Zags handily. If you’ve kept up with our coverage throughout the week, you know that FSU forward Phil Cofer will remain out, after the passing of his father, while Florida State guard David Nichols should play.
