Florida State dropped its third one-run game of the season in a 2-1 loss at Duke. The winning run for Duke came across the plate unearned, as the defense bit FSU again. The bats were simply overmatched by extremely talented pitchers. Florida State had more errors than hits on the day. The Seminoles will look to even up the series tomorrow at 1:00 PM with Shane Drohan on the mound.
Three up
- CJ Van Eyk was sensational today and did everything he could to keep FSU in the game. The junior had his best outing of the season as he worked 6+ innings of one-run ball.
