Florida State (18-12) dropped it’s third straight game losing the series to Miami (20-11) without scoring a run. This time they lost 4-0. The ‘Noles find themselves 1-6 in their last seven and searching for answers.

• Once again Mike Salvatore shows himself to be the only competent hitter on this team. Salvatore started the game with a hard line out to first and added a walk and single in his next two appearances. While he only had one hit on the day he did provide FSU chances with timely hitting and his walk.
