Florida State relied on a dominant defensive effort and a strong ground game to run past UMass, 59-3, on Saturday. The Seminoles extended their winning streak to three games, the longest since 2017, and moved one step closer to being bowl eligible after missing out last season. Brownlee missed out on a possible interception early in the game. When he returned to the sideline, he was met by coach Mike Norvell, who offered him some words of encouragement.
“You’re not always going to make every play,” said Norvell. “But you learn your lessons from it and make sure you focus a little bit more.
