You don’t have to pay much attention to know that Miami’s recruiting class has been disintegrating lately, as part of what seems like a new annual tradition. And the Seminoles are benefitting from the most recent Hurricane collapse, as former ’Cane commit Jarvis Brownlee has flipped to Florida State and signed with the ’Noles.
Brownlee (5’9.5, 169) is a three-star cornerback prospect from Miami Carol City (Opa Locka, FL) who was committed to UM from June until earlier in December. Ranked as the country’s No. 54 CB, the state’s 67th best player, and the country’s 534th recruit, overall, Brownlee also has offers from Florida, LSU, Syracuse, Pitt, UCF, Boston College, USF, Southern Miss, and others, in addition to Florida State and Miami.
