2025 blue-chip quarterback Tramell Jones decommits from FSU

With a 1-9 season still unfolding, Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles have lost another prized verbal commitment for Tribe25.

This time, it’s the blue-chip quarterback who stated that, as recently as when FSU took on UNC at the beginning of November, his recruitment was shut down and no other schools were involved — Tramell Jones Jr. out of Jacksonville.

Jones, a 6’0”, 195-pound quarterback who plays for Mandarin High School, is currently ranked as a four-star and had been pledged to the Seminoles since April 2023.

Thomas originally chose the Seminoles over the Florida Gators, Louisville Cardinals, Maryland Terrapins, Miami Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Panthers, and Virginia Tech Hokies.
