Florida State travels to South Bend to take on Notre Dame for the first of three straight non-conference games to end their season, but one with plenty of college football implications. The Fighting Irish should boast their best team under Marcus Freeman in his third season. Old friend Riley Leonard transferred to ND in the off-season and looks to put his health issues behind him after undergoing ankle surgery. Defensively, the Irish appear better on paper than the unit that finished in the top seven in passing yards, total yards, and scoring allowed last season.
