For the 24th time in school history, the Florida State Seminoles will be taking part in the College World Series.
FSU is seeking its first-ever national championship, having made the trip back to Omaha in head coach Link Jarrett’s second season. It’s been a major turnaround for Florida State, with the Seminoles having set a school record for year-over-year win improvement (24 and counting) just a season removed from the program’s first-ever losing season.
FSU is 5-0 through the first two stages of the NCAA Tournament, beating Stetson and UCF twice in regional play and then taking down the UConn Huskies in the Tallahassee Super Regional — setting the all-time Super Regional run record in Game 1.
