For 78 college football teams that play in the FBS level, the 2018 bowl season brings everything from swag bags to extra practices to the change to bring home everything from bragging right to a bowl trophy to, for four special teams, the chance to be crowned the national champions of the game.
At the same time, 52 teams from the FBS level – including the FSU football team for the first time since the 1981 season – are watching from home like every fan since they couldn’t get to six wins on the season. Heck, there are four teams that did get to six wins and still didn’t make a bowl game because of how many winning teams there were this season.
