The Florida State Seminoles didn't exactly dominate on Saturday, but they did what they do best in a 34-20 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers - they won.
FSU has found a way to survive in every which way this season, eschewing the blowout trend that was a big part of their 2013 run for a lot more nail-biters and nose-to-the-grindstone types of victories.
"This team knows how to win," senior guard Tre Jackson said, via Florida Today. "If you can't go four quarters with us, that's your loss. We're going to fight all four quarters. We're going to fight until the last horn blows in the game. This team knows exactly what to do to win.
"That's what we do."
None of the Florida State Seminoles' opponents have been able to go the full four quarters with the defending national champions. While the SEC continues to take all the headlines when it comes to contenders for the College Football Playoff, FSU just wins.
If they continue to do so, there's always room for another trophy in Tallahassee.
