The Florida Panthers AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, have traded veteran defenseman Adam Pardy to the Milwaukee Admirals for three players.
Pardy participated in Florida’s training camp on a PTO, but failed to win a spot on the big-league roster and signed an AHL contract with the Thunderbirds.
Coming back to Springfield in the deal are the unheralded trio of forward Eric Robinson, defenseman Teddy Doherty and goaltender Brandon Whitney. Whitney is the only one of the three who was drafted.
Robinson was the only player on Milwaukee’s roster at the time of the trade. The 26-year-old had an assist in one appearance with the Admirals this season.
