Season Rewind: Jonathan Huberdeau

SUNRISE, Fla. – The former No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, Jonathan Huberdeau cemented himself as one of the league’s up-and-coming playmakers during his fourth season with the Florida Panthers.

A key contributor on Florida’s top-scoring line, the 23-year-old winger set new career marks in goals (20), points (59), plus/minus (plus-17) and average ice time (18:09) in 76 games played.

“I think this year was more about consistency in my play,” Huberdeau said of his offensive improvement. “I think that’s what I was looking was for. Of course the points weren’t coming at first, but you knew it was going to come at some point.
