Recap: Panthers blitz Hurricanes early, hold on for 5-2 win

Red-hot Anthony Duclair scored two goals and added two assists to power the Florida Panthers past the previously undefeated Carolina Hurricanes by a 5-2 count at FLA Live Arena.

The four points were a career-high for the 26-year-old Duclair. Florida is the only team in the NHL without a regulation loss, the first team to hit ten wins, and are one game from matching the franchise mark for longest point streak to start a season.

The Duke took a crisp crossing pass from Carter Verhaeghe and loaded up before ripping a rising shot past Frederik Andersen 2:28 into the first period.
