The Florida Panthers have cut a trio of players from its 2020-21 training camp roster,
Goaltender Sam Montembeault, defenseman Noah Juulsen and forward Zac Dalpe were placed on waivers this afternoon, bringing the current number of players looking for jobs on the NHL squad to 41.
If they clear, they will report to Florida’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
After taking a hiatus during the 2019-20 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Checkers return to action on October 16, when they open the season on the road against the Hershey Bears.
