DETROIT, Mich. (The Sports Xchange) — The Florida Panthers stuck to what they had been doing and things worked out.

Defenseman Brian Campbell’s goal 1:20 into overtime gave Florida a 2-1 come-from-behind win against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday afternoon at Joe Louis Arena.

Campbell scored from the inside edge of the left circle as the trailer on a 3-on-2 rush. It was his second goal of the season.

“Great pass by (left winger Jonathan) Huberdeau when we had the other guy (forward Jussi Jokinen) driving the net,” said Panthers coach Gerard Gallant.
