Panthers stay perfect on trip with 3-2 win over Kings

The Florida Panthers won for the fourth straight time on the road, beating the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 at Staples Center to leapfrog the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins and move into third place in the Atlantic Division.

A day after being held off the scoresheet for the first time, Jonathan Huberdeau opened the scoring with a hard shot from the top of the left circle after taking a no look pass from Aleksander Barkov. Vincent Trocheck, on because of a delayed penalty call, drew the second assist on the goal that came 15:05 into the action.
