The Florida Panthers faced off against the Nashville Predators in the second game of the 2015 Rookie Tournament at Germain Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Panthers Prospect G Colin Stevens made his first appearance in this year’s rookie tournament making 10 saves in the first period keeping the game tied at 0.
The Preds struck first when Pontus Aberg tipped the puck in past Stevens, and continued getting shots on net managing to score two more goals from rookies Garrett Noonan and Viktor Arvidsson.
At the start of the third, F Connor Brickley continued to generate offense, notching the Panthers first goal of the game and his second tally of the tournament
“I’m just trying to keep things simple, play with high paced energy and just lead by example,” said Brickley.
