SUNRISE (The Sports Xchange) – Centers Brandon Pirri and Aleksander Barkov scored in the shootout as the Florida Panthers beat the Ottawa Senators 2-1 at BB&T Center on Tuesday.
Center Corban Knight scored in regulation for Florida (19-12-4), and centers Jaromir Jagr and Quinton Howden had assists.
Ottawa right winger Mark Stone scored a power-play goal on assists from defenseman Erik Karlsson and center Mika Zibanejad.
Goaltender Craig Anderson made 39 saves for Ottawa (17-12-6). Florida goalie Roberto Luongo stopped 15 shots.
