Hometown boy Charlie Coyle scored with 4:35 left in regulation to tie the game and then bagged the game-winner 5:15 into overtime to give the Boston Bruins a 3-2 win over the rusty Columbus Blue Jackets in Game 1 of the series. Marcus Johansson had the primary assist on both goals. The Bruins led 1-0 on Noel Acciari’s shorthanded marker for much of the tilt until Brandon Dubinsky and Pierre-Luc Dubois scored 13 seconds apart in the third period. Sergei Bobrovsky made 34 saves to help keep the Blue Jackets in the game.
