After playing a back-to-back games over the weekend and accumulating three points, the Florida Panthers get a much-needed break, not playing again until Thursday night when they host the Washington Capitals at FLA Live Arena.
The club’s AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers went 1-2 over the weekend, dropping a Friday night decision in Providence before bouncing back with win on Saturday in Hartford and then finishing its road trip with a loss to a familiar name, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
