Blake Coleman and Ondrej Palat scored 12 seconds apart in the second period to quickly erase a one-goal deficit as the Tampa Bay Lightning moved one step closer to the Stanley Cup Final with an impressive 4-1 win over the New York Islanders.
Coleman chased down Yanni Gourde’s long aerial pass and beat Semyon Varlamov just 15 seconds after Brock Nelson had given the Islanders a 1-0 lead.
Brayden Point scored 3:33 into the third period to put the Bolts up by two and Pat Maroon completed the scoring into an empty net with 2:24 remaining.
