The Florida Panthers are off from game action today. Boston will be up next on Tuesday in game five of the eight-game homestand. It will be the first of four meetings between the two clubs, who won’t face each other again until March.
The Springfield Thunderbirds (12-6-1-2) took three out of a possible four points this weekend and are currently in fourth place in the AHL’s Atlantic Division.
On Saturday, Springfield posted a 4-2 road win over the Hershey Bears. Anthony Greco scored the first and last T-Birds goals, Jacob MacDonald scored the winner midway through the second period, and Blaine Byron also lit the lamp.
