LBC’s 2019 Florida Panthers & NHL UFA Day Open Thread

Welcome to all as we embark on yet another summer of free agent signings. Unlike last year, where the Florida Panthers roster looked pretty set, general manager Dale Tallon is definitely on the hunt for a new starting goalie (penciling in Sergei Bobrovksy) and perhaps a veteran backup.

According to CapFriendly, the Panthers have just over $25 million in cap space and are expected to be very aggressive.

In addition to Bobrovsky, rumor has it the Cats will ink forward Brett Connolly, last seen in a Washington Capitals uniform, and should also be looking for help on the blue line.
