Facing off against a divisional opponent, the Florida Panthers started off strong in the opening few minutes of play. They were controlling play deep in the Bruins’ end, but the visiting side had their goaltender to bank on for some much-needed saves.
Boston escaped the first ever so slightly, hanging onto a tie. For Florida, their breakthrough was about to come, something they hadn’t realized.
In the first four minutes to start the second, Colton Sceviour stormed his way into Bruins territory and swung a puck through Halak’s legs which sat in the goal crease.
