Florida Panthers Thrash Chicago Blackhawks 7-0

The first period didn’t go as plan, yet again. The Panthers were caught chasing the puck in their own zone, numerous amounts of times. James Reimer had to bail us out on numerous amounts of occasions, and kept the game tied at zero.

The first period offered some chances midway through the period. The Hawks seemed to have taken the game to us in the first, but would stumble later on in the game.

Seventeen seconds into the second period, Barkov sniped home his 21st goal of the season, to give a 1-0 lead for the Cats.
