With July 1st in full swing (or a small swing, with such a low free agency class), the Florida Panthers found themselves not buying much but rather browsing. With five signings and all who will play in AHL affiliate Portland, Panthers are truly committed to the “youth movement”, and the Panther GM Dale Tallon stated ” We would have signed someone if it was a bargain. We weren’t going to overpay and block one of the kids”. The transition of the kids seems to be a go now.
And with the transtition of these young players, their needs to be a gap filled, and the new acquisitions do just that.
