Florida Panthers Sign Troy Brouwer to a One-Year, One-Way Contract

On Monday, July 27th, the Florida Panthers have agreed to terms with forward Troy Brouwer on a one-year, one-way contract worth $850K.

Last season with the Calgary Flames, Troy participated in 76 contests, recording 6G, 16A, and 22 points. Additionally, Brouwer was originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 7th round (214th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

With Chicago, Brouwer spent five seasons in a Blackhawks uniform, playing a grand total of 238 games and producing a slash line of 49G, 54A, and 103 points.
