Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with F Brett Olson on a one-year, two-way contract.
Olson, 28, played in 76 games for the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) during the 2014-15 season, recording an American Hockey League career-best 45 points (14-31—45), while finishing fourth among the team’s scoring leaders.
The Superior, WI, native has played in 221 AHL games, recording 107 points (39-68—107).
Prior to his professional career, Olson played four seasons at Michigan Tech University (2008-12) and served as captain for the 2011-12 season.
