The Florida Panthers announced today that forward Grigori Denisenko has been reassigned from Florida’s Taxi Squad to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League .
Denisenko, appeared in two games with Florida this season, making his National Hockey League debut on March 6 against the Nashville Predators. The 5-foot-11, 186-pound native of Novosibirsk, Russia has appeared in four games with the Crunch this season, recording two goals and three points.
The 20-year-old hasn’t seen any game action since March 7, so the move will allow him to get some much-needed playing time with Syracuse.
