On Monday, July 29, Denis Potvin announced his retirement from broadcasting, closing out his career with the Florida Panthers.
The open position led the Panthers and Fox Sports Florida to immediately name Randy Moller as his replacement. Moller, 55, has spent the past four seasons between the benches as a television analyst.
Spanning all the way back to 1996-97 where Moller initially started as a radio analyst, he eventually worked his way up to becoming the Panthers’ radio play-by-play announcer in 2007-08.
Now, Moller will join Steve Goldstein, the Panthers’ television play-by-play announcer, up in the broadcast booth to call Panthers games.
