On February 27th, 2016, the Florida Panthers made some massive moves in acquiring three trades in Jiri Hudler, Jakub Kindl and Teddy Purcell just days before the trade deadline. In the mix of all the NHL talent dealt to Florida, one particular move seemed to go under the radar which was the signing of WHL star Dryden Hunt, who at the time had already registered 99 points in his season as a Moose Jaw Warrior and 5 hat tricks in the month of February alone.
Hunt joins Jayce Hawryluk and Lawson Crouse in the already deep prospect pool the Florida Panthers have at their disposal in the future.
