Florida Panthers News: Jack Capuano to be named Associate Coach

After Capuano won his first playoff series in 2016 as the New York Islanders head coach, a 6 game hard fought series, the Tampa Bay Lightning avenged their fallen cross state brethren and dominated the Islanders in five games. However, like the Panthers 2016 offseason, there were a lot of shakeups in the Islanders organization. The Islanders were sold to a new ownership group. John Tavares, who is arguably one of the top 5 centers in the NHL lost his wingers as Frans Nielsen departed for Detroit and Kyle Okposo went across state to Buffalo.
