On, Monday, Apr. 8 at roughly 8 A.M., the Florida Panthers announced that they named Joel Quenneville as their new head coach.
Quenneville, who’s 60-years-old, has been coaching in the NHL for over twenty years, experiencing coaching stints with the St. Louis Blues, Colorado Avalanche, and, most famously, the Chicago Blackhawks.
With the Blackhawks, Quenneville spent eleven seasons behind their bench (2008-09 to 2018-19), leading the club to three Stanley Cup victories (2010, 2013, and 2015), while owning a grand record of 452-249-96 in 797 games as head coach.
