SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that the Florida Panthers Foundation has given a $100,000 community match donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County to recuperate funds lost from the Department of Education appropriation in fiscal year 2015-2016 for Boys & Girls Club of Broward County math, reading and homework help programs in Broward County.
This contribution supports the Boys & Girls Club’s Youth Education Success (Y.E.S.) program which serves in 12 clubs across Broward County. The Y.E.S. program seeks to improve math and reading competency levels for students in grades 1-8 with holistic approaches to education.
