Florida Panthers donate $1 million towards hurricane relief

On Tuesday September 12th, the Florida Panthers announced that they would participate in a $2.7 million donation. The funds would go towards a rebuilding process, that would allow the state of Florida to rebuild accordingly, following hurricane Irma.

The Cats donated $1 million, while the Tampa Bay Lightning matched the Panthers in return. The NHL and other various players have kicked in the rest of the funds, to meet the $2.7 million target.

Apart from the donations that were made, the Panthers didn’t stop there. The Panthers have arranged for on-ground food/water accommodations to be made.
